Adding web or Course links
The updated version of Learn makes it easy to add external web links, or Course links (shortcuts).
Adding links to different Learn courses
You can link to the main page of another Learn course. You can do this in the same way as adding a web link (see above).
In the previous version of Learn, you could link to specific content within a separate course. Unfortunately, that is no longer possible.
Best practice when adding links
Open in a new window or tab
This is the default setting for links in Learn.
Whenever you add links that take you out of the Learn course, always set them to open in a new window.
If you choose to open in the current window, the user will see an error message.
Note that this problem does not affect ‘Course Links’ – links between different parts of the same course.
